Xbox repair status not updating

Well I had the 3RROD on Monday & set my Xbox off on Wednesday & arrived at the Xbox repair centre earlier this Morning. I just brought my Xbox 360 to UPS to be shipped, and I clearly saw the employee scan the tracking number.

This is a minor issue and should be fixed within a few days after the consoles launch on November 22.

Inserting a disc and installing it should be an easy task, but things have gone awry for some users.

If it makes you feel better I had rrod year 1 on the 360, was mad, replacement never rrod. Initially I was mad, that replacement never died, I even moved it from California to Virginia in between its life.

In your statement, right there, you state WHY they won't find an issue. So the repair guy down in Mexico is supposed to **** with your console for who knows how long in case something MIGHT go wrong? You might get a refurbed one back, but it was stupid to send it in without a fatal problem, unless the warranty was almost troll and have no idea what you're talking about and it's not helping users with real issues.

This issue is likely due to a high increase in update traffic on the Microsoft server due to the Xbox One console launch, similair to the launch of the PS4.

A possible work-around would be to attempt to update your console at a more optimal performance time, such as early in the morning (2AM - 10AM), as you are more likely to encounter a receptive updating time with people at school or work.

Ive checked the status of it over saturday 2/19/11 through tuesday 2/22/11 and it hasnt changed since Friday.

Sent in my xbox 360, got it repaired, but now the status of my warranty says "out of warranty." How long does it take for them to update the warranty?

Users can install the game from the disc first, and then connect to Live, which will prompt the Xbox One to update.

I requested a repair online, so I bought a box and everything but when I went to print the shipping label, my printer was acting stupid so I went to UPS and they put a custom shipping label to be sent to Microsoft Repair Center. I sent my xbox in on Tuesday 2/14/11 and it got delivered to Mesquite Texas for repair on Friday 2/18/11.
